Great Lakes Ginseng farm
is located in remote hardwood forests near the shores of Lake Superior in
Northern Michigan. By growing our ginseng under the natural canopy of oak and
maple forests, the root takes on the characteristics of wild ginseng. Each
year the root remains in the ground increases its wild properties and
medicinal effects. We are the largest grower
of American woodsgrown ginseng in North America. In fall 2009, we harvested
11- and 12-year-old root. This ginseng has all been sold. We still have a
limited quantity of 10-year-old capsules for sale and will have a few pounds
of 11-year-old ginseng powder for sale at the end of June. This year, we will be
selling 12- and 13-year-old fresh ginseng from June to October and will be
harvesting 12- and 13-year-old root in the fall. This root will be dried and
available for delivery in late November. Please place your orders early as
demand for our mixed ginseng always exceeds supply. Sale! We have
capsules made from 10-year-old ginseng on sale. Please click
here for a complete listing of products. |
